Anyways, I'm not a big fan of the self-improvement meme. I like to try different things, but it's mostly bullshit or the effects are not worth the work. Just try to eat healthy (you all know that fast food is not healthy and cooking varied meals is healthier, it's not rocket science and you don't need to read so much about it), work out a little and don't do too much of any unnatural activity (sitting, looking at a screen, ...) and you got most of the health stuff covered. Then you just need motivation and something you care about and you will soon find yourself working in the most effective way possible, without destroying your kidneys from too many meme supplements.

I don't know anything about shrooms but lsd is more or less proven, there's a good few studies on it. Even back when lsd was first discovered, they tested it on a bunch of animals, and when they did spiders at low dosage, the spider web was neater and better than it would be normally. At higher doses it was as erratic and bad as you'd expect though. I can't get LSD anyway so whatever

I've been doing a journal for a bit over a year now. I never really feel like rereading old entries but it's nice to have somewhere to write my thoughts though. Everytime I try a dream one it tapers off quickly. My dreams are too hard to write down, or I'm just bad at writing them I guess. There was one time it came to me easy for a couple weeks, I wrote a lot. I was also taking many quick naps in that time too, so I had a lot to write.

But I've never been able to do it so what do I know, but my understanding is that you can use it to guide your subconscious. I think I have seen this before, it is probably better to improve your every day lifestyle instead of doing this for 7 days and returning to normal afterwards but it would probably be a fun experiment nevertheless.

I struggled doing this as well, especially if I get up from an alarm clock I am too tired to write but ten minutes later I forgot most of the dream. I tried recording my voice to avoid writing but it was still too much work. Do you think dream analysis has some truth to it or is it esoteric bullshit?
I agree with your opinion on lucid dreaming, it was just that I happened to have a great dream on the day I wrote that post. Never achieved one either btw, despite trying a lot of different stuff.

I tried binaural beats and the same thing but with led goggles multiple times, each for at least half an hour. Sometimes I put on binaural beats when working but I don't feel any significant difference to my normal state of mind. But it is useful when you want to have something on your ears when you are in a noisy environment.

I don't live in the desert or any hot area really so I always think the vitamin D is more important than my skin. After all, some sun exposure is very natural, right? It feels good and I like spending time outdoors anyways, so I don't think I need to supplement vitamin D.
