I don't know if the allegations against "Roberto" are legit or not but I'm just saying that if your employer hears about those kind of allegations, he'll at least take a good, hard second look at you. Especially if you're supposed to represent the company for a pro-diversity event. So yeah, that's enough of a reason to cave in.
