I had a dream

HTML everything. Desktop apps as mere browser controls that extends a js object to communicate with the actual program. Even the command line was replaced like this. There was nothing but a browser, and it was the os. HTML generation functionality was added to the standard library.

I often have prophetic dreams. Have no doubt that this is the future of computing.

CSS and HTML are not pixel perfect presentation formats.

Neither are GTK or Qt, but they do a decent job at doing what they're supposed to do. CSS and HTML are piles of shit.
