I like to think I’m living some sort of double life. Professional hacker by day, mild-mannered writer by night. Saving the internet and crafting the delicate fictional feelings of Sad Teens.
LOOK AT ME! I AM A PROFESSIONAL HACKER xDDDDDD, H ave u heart of le implying mem? I luv it!!!11!!!!
>>4 I don't appreciate being dictated to what is funny and what isn't. The person behind the 0xabad1dea twitter account does it repeatedly, and so they become an acceptable target.
Well, that's just me, of course. Some of the other posters might be genuine homophobes and misogynists. Also, some people seem to be bothered with 0xabad1dea's somewhat unwarranted self-importance, which is really not at all uncommon on twitter and non-anonymous media.

>>5 so it was you who made the retarded "joke" about periods to her and feel embarassed about fucking up like that, and are taking revenge by posting about it on prog?
unwarranted self-importance
what the fuck? your threads are making her famous here. just unfollow her you fucking twitter fag
While I detest people like this, who take themselves seriously to this point, feel the need to constantly announce themselves to the world, and think their thoughts are important enough to warrant this kind of effort in their propagation and presentation, you guys are starting to overdo it. There's a thread about this every week now. You're starting to seem like her fan club.
If you hate her so much just send her hate mail until she cries. People like this are fairly exposed due to how much they attention whore. Make accounts in her name and post stories involving loli rape, dox her and bother her employer until they get tired of it and fire her, fuck with her sites, etc.
>>14 Most people haven't browsed /prog/ and chan communities for the better part of their life. Most communities are hugbox communities, even now. So yes, it still works on most people, if you know what to pick on. I'm sure she would be affected if you sent her a well written and verbose message saying that she was ugly and fat and that as a woman she will never be worth anything in the computer science industry, never have the same kind of respect and renown as a male, and that no matter how much everyone pretends they still see you as inferior, and in the end it is just masked patronization.

one of her friends was an ex-4chan user so I would not be suprissed if she was too
>>17 She doesn't seem to act like one. The fact that she gets offended by PMS jokes is a sign that she hasn't been exposed to it to the same degree.
That or she is just being a whiny little bitch for the sake of fanning flames.
Either way, she's annoying.

She lives a cool life full of admirers and will likely sell her novel to earn a ton of money, while you end up your days jerking at some Lisp or Haskell.
>>18 she gets offended by PMS jokes is a sign that she... ...is simply a Jewess. You see, Jews are the calculating persons, who love playing hypersensitivity and offended victims, when it suits them.

Someone should tell her about us!

>>25 She'd gather her twitter army and bully the VPS company hosting this board to kick us out. Because freedom of expression just means the government can't censor you, y'know, so it's totally okay if a company does. It's like torture, it's totally okay if the government pays someone else to do it.
>>28 No, they're just organized crime. But organized crime is not always inherently evil. For example, Yakudza helped clean up the nuclear catastrophe in Japan and did other socially beneficial stuff.
Every government is a large organized criminal group, but some of them play by at least a simile of rules. If you destroy that large gang that is the government, then lots of smaller gangs and random thugs will start breathing freely and you probably won't like living in that world. The government bullies you more or less predictably and temperately, but a random thug on the street might kill you for wearing the wrong clothes.
a random thug on the street might kill you for wearing the wrong clothes.
"Abe Lincoln may have freed all men, but Sam Colt made them equal"
so a random thug won't risk his life to rob you, if you are armed. Although a group of thugs will, producing bigger and bigger groups, ending into governments and wars between them. So our whole civilization starts from a war and peace always rests on weapon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pax_Romana).
I think the ideal solution would be some robotic government, punishing bad people for organizing to oppress others.

>>33 This is nearly the first time on /prague/ that I wholeheartedly agree with every word you said.
Actually, a cybernetic government has been tried as far back as 1971. It was CYBERSYN, a project of British scientist Stafford Beer and ran Chile. It performed really well - too well to be tolerated by the powers that be. But a society controlled by computer programs might indeed be the perfect society. Not necessarily, of course, but then again human-run societies are necessarily shit.
So I would definitely bow my head to a robotic government if it was organized on more or less fair and transparent principles. Alas, the world is still ruled by power-hungry apes who want to rob and dominate us.
Always the same sort of beliefs. Misanthropic and nihilistic with a fantasy of ``computer''-controlled society and government. Educated by reading articles on the internet. You know one thing and one thing only and that thing is the layout of your basement.
