How do we we reunify /prog/? Can someone tell cudder the kike about this board. I want to talk to herhim it again about various mundane things.
Which 2hu wud u fuk?
Why is crab meat called crab meat while fish is called fish? Should there be a term fish meat to differentiate a live fish from the body of a fish meant for eating?
Which is better, perl or tcl? Does using tcl make you ticklish? Is that where it got its name?

Go on /jp/ and make a thread, you might be able to invoke the Greater Kike.
Okuu.
Why do people call assembly language ``assembler''?
Damn, found it, it's just freenode shit. I did not know that a channel name could have more than one # in it Sadly L. A. wasn't there

>>12 No, "europioid". The name of the white race as opposed to the incorrect "caucasian".

Historically, the ancestors of the speakers of English did not eat crab or lobster. In the early American colonies, it was against the law to feed your slaves too much lobster and crab because it was considered cruel (those things were thought of as roaches of the sea).
On the contrary, the idea of having to name the meat and the animal separately in English can be blamed on the French. When the Normans invaded in 1066 (or something), French became the language of government, an to say something like ``I like to eat pig'' fell out of favor in the presence of stupid proto-hipster "ironic" garbage like ``le pork I lyg to le eigg xD''. Eventually all the proto-hipsters were put to the sword when Shakespeare destroyed French and made English the language of culture, but the habit of using separate words was here to stay.
French is a language from the gods. Carefully crafted to be absolutely perfect and musical in tone, it is the masterwork of the linguistic diety. Whereas other language cobble together myriad dialects into one ram-shod pile of rubbish that presumes itself a "language", French was masterfully crafted from the ornate boulder that is Latin and enhanced with the gold trimmings of Germanic language.
French is what is spoken in heaven. English is spoken in hell.
C++ is a language from the gods. Carefully crafted to be absolutely perfect and musical in tone, it is the masterwork of the linguistic diety. Whereas other language cobble together myriad dialects into one ram-shod pile of rubbish that presumes itself a "language", Forth was masterfully crafted from the ornate boulder that is C++ and enhanced with the gold trimmings of Perl language.
>>39 At first, I parsed the "no" as making that into a question, then I realized I had shifted into Nip modo. But I agree that French is shit, I'm terrible at remembering spelling and French is even worse phoneticly than English.

>>7 You know, LAC doesn't always act like a retard who shouts ``retoid'' and ``stack boi'', he had some intelligent conversations from time to time that weren't in all-caps, and not to mention the fact he actually codes.
I don't like the intelligent, coding LAC. I like the LAC that is a retarded angry chimp foaming at the mouth and shouts insults in bad grammar and all-caps.
>>43 I saw LAC as the vigilante alter ego of a solid, rational C programmer fed up with all the bullshit around him. A mild-mannered guy who posts on c.l.c. and stack overflow by day, and takes out his frustration on /prog/ by night after seeing one too many of his coworkers justify undefined behavior with ``But GCC does it like this - I checked!''
I don't know if he ever gave clues to his identity, but I hope not. I like the image I have of him.
