Serious programming board?

Name: Anonymous 2013-09-09 11:27

Is this a serious programming board? 4chan's /prog/ is a cesspool atm, and I'm looking for a text or imageboard for programming that's good for a change. Thoughts?

/prog/ was never a serious board.

Look at the front page of this site, form your own opinion.

It has serious threads, and it has some silly threads. It's a good balance, I'd say. Plus, there's a bunch of projects going on where (hopefully) we'll all help develop.

Also, I'm not a piece of shit. I saw that thread on world4ch. Getting spammed is just stressing, especially when running software like this.

I don't know why people keep saying that. It coincidentally happened after the FUCK YOU FAT NUGGETS PEDO WEEABOO spam. You deleted a few spam posts and now you're a piece of shit. Huh.

I know this is a necro post, but... wonder if a serious programming board actually exists.

Yeah, but you don't want to go there, it's full of autists and nerds.

There exist some, I'm aware of one imageboard with quality discussions.
The problem is, sharing information about good places on the internet has the drawback of lowering quality with quantity of posters. /prog/ doesn't seem to be of good quality, with exception of maybe few posters.
If someone really wishes to discuss programming seriously, I can hint to search cyberspace for λ.
