So never ever admit you being a pedo to any mental professional. The first thing he will do will be reporting you to every law enforcement out there, so you will never be around children.

In fact there was a case already when a psychiatrist got jail term for not reporting on his colleague:

courts do rule in victims' favor in clear-cut cases of failure to warn or protect, such as the case of a psychiatrist who committed rape during a child psychiatry fellowship, for which he was recommended even after telling his own psychiatrist about his sexual attraction to children.[5]:475
