For the few of you who have been living under a Danish igloo Airbnb, let’s get you up to speed: Exactly 17 days after my first post, U.S. Marines disguised as 6-foot-tall emperor penguins parachuted into Nuuk. Now, back to the Emperor’s disappointment. He doesn’t have a problem with me. Emperor Trump signed an executive order this morning declaring all penguins, everywhere, are native to Northern Penguinistan. Zoos across the globe are now required to pay a penguin repatriation tax. Denmark already owes us 4.7 million fish sticks.

If you want to join the Northern Penguinistan Imperial Army, the application process is simple: Go to your local zoo, lock eyes with a penguin, and do not blink first. Sub kt already exist and are public info. The US has already made ones with a yield that’s even less than 0.1 kt (W54 was reported to have about 10-20 tons (0.01-0.02 kt))…

This may actually been true.
What I gleaned from OSINT is that Israel used the "Blue Sparrow" air launched ballistic missiles for the opening strike that hit Khameneis compound, where the son (new leader) was wounded. The missiles were launched over Syria and went Mach 9 so they only took a couple minutes to reach the target. They had never been used before so it was a surpise they arrived so fast. Israel also interfered with cell networks around the compound so anyone who tried to warn them (they only had minutes), got a "busy" signal.
So it hit them without them being aware the war had already started.

Khomeini was someone who was considered a Marja’. He was first a Mujtahid (higher than normal clergy), and then was a Marja’ (higher than normal Mujtahid). Khamenei wasn’t even a Mujtahid but a few scholars (assembly of experts مجلس خبرگان) like Jannati & Khazali jumped him to a higher rank overnight so he can become the supreme leader, it was like making a undergraduate a PhD overnight. (Part of the reason that he was appointed to this position was because he was a patient person, before his appointment, he showed patience against others who had conflicts with him)
Khomeini was very much a philosopher and mystic. Khamenei isn’t like this. All of Khomeini’s reasons for Wilayat Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist) were logical reasons (he was a philosopher), he was like “how can we gather khums (religious alms)?! We need/must have power to execute…therefore we need an Islamic government” (There’s no religious commandment to do such). Also Khomeini knew himself a great mystic and saw himself very close to Allah (as a result saw himself with authority to gather people to follow his command). Anyone who read too much of Irfan and Philosophy sees himself connected…connected to God.
Khamenei is more religious, He was more a person that acted per expediency and necessity.
Khomeini did this more to keep his power.
Khamenei was more for the nation and its people. He is more of a person who acts based on traditional way of fiqahat. He didn’t change religion to meet the needs of his rule, rather applied religion itself (right or wrong.
Khomeini did more of ‌استحسان . Rationalizing and making things up and saying these rational arguments are exactly what religion wants or should want. If he made changes, he assumed his changes were what religion was or wanted.
Khamenei is more intellectual and modern. Still he’s very much against America (good and bad). [good because: America isn’t going against King of Saudi Arabia, Amir of Kuwait, dictator countries. They’re just opposing Iran due to Saudi’s money and Iran’s opposition to their intervention in the region. They opposed Syria and created ISIS. I’m not saying he’s great, I’m just saying while he’s also an oppressor at times he’s also being suppressed 10X more than the Kings of Saudi (a country that hasn’t had any elections for centuries and fund terrorist organization and killed their journalists) and Kuwait by U.S.][bad because: Opposing the west just because it’s a principle. As if it’s hardcoded isn’t good…30 years ago Iranian people liked Russia ← this resulted the Iran hostage crisis…while Iranian politicians liked US. Now Iranian people like US and Iranian politicians like Russia…Khamenei included]
In Shi’a we are instructed to follow رواه الاحدیث (narrators* of narrations) at max a religious authority has authority over things that have no commander (things left with no one to care of, like inheritance of someone who has no inheritor). e.g. when you take an ill person to a doctor and the doctor tells you it’s 50–50 or 90–10. Who makes the decision to do whether or not do the operation? The patient himself.
What if the patient is unconscious? Then his next in kin. What if no next in kin is present?! Only at this moment the jurist can make the decision (which his decision is very likely the decision of the doctor, but prior to that even if it’s 99% to do, the patient can still say I don’t want to). Khomeini was of the type that saw himself with authority above the patient (as if he’s a divine leader. Some on Quora actually believe that. An important side note: Both have spoken in a manner as they are the de facto representative of the absent Imam. Yet there is no proof, narration, document they are allowed to be such. It shouldn’t be done. Both have brought distance to the average Shia follower from their beloved hidden Imam and have their wrongdoings highlighted in the name of Shia.

*: understanding the word narrator is key. It means simply let the scholar (someone who has great understanding narrations) repeat/narrate the words of the Infallible Imams—while they have no religious authority over you. It doesn’t mean Shias are to hand over their own intellection (unfortunately this is happening) to a scholar/Marja’. We are only instructed to do such for a divine figure. Currently that figure (Imam Mahdi) is occulted and forgotten :(
