/prog/ spammer

Can you do something about the guy posting "/lounge/" in every thread?
It's annoying and I don't think it's more than one person.

Isn't the solution to move such threads to /lounge/ or /anarchy/? I can't imagine anybody would take the time to post /lounge/ in a /prog/ thread unless it deserved to be in /lounge/.

Probably. But there's no rule for it.
Which is why not every thread is moved there and not everyone is banned.

Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.
If those threads don't belong there, they'll die a peaceful death. Posting the same thing in every slightly off-topic thread is hardly productive.

I really don't think we should be removing spam like this. This isn't traditional spam. It's just an autist upset the board isn't what he wants it to be. Which is fine based on the level of moderation I think we want (which is next to nothing).
