Yesterday M*ntifex went to a Goodwill thrift store in search of used John le Carre spy-books, but none were found. After swimming in Green Lake today on 2021-09-04 Saturday, M*ntifex went to the Books section of LDS/Mormon "Deseret Industries" and again found zero John le Carre books but bought "A Farewell to Arms" by E. Hemingway for $2.00; "At Dawn We Slept" by Gordon W. Prange for $2.00; and "Spy Hook" by Len Deighton for $3.00 plus tax. When the hotshot prog-rammers on this Schizo Magnet Board get as old as Very Truly Yours, they will discover that they can re-read the books of their favorite authors after forgetting all the individual sentences. You could buy all the books of John le Carre and read them over and over, forgetting each one as soon as you read it.
But why are all the John le Carre books disappearing from all the used-book stores? Don't you smell a rat? M*ntifex may have to swallow his pride and crawl back in to Magus Books which refused to sell his new 2020 book "Artificial Intelligence in Ancient Latin". Recently M*ntifex had only thirteen cents ($0.13) in his bank account, before an infusion of funds from Uncle Sugar. Meanwhile, some weird things were happening, leet programmers of the unbridled Board! Two things, one for sure, but what was the other thing?
