I love C. Now there's a real language. Lisp is good too. I'll make something useful with it one of these days. And when I do, I'll post it to my blog. All I need is vim.

Cloud? No thanks! I want everything to be offline... on my immobile desktop computer running Linux. Firefox is the best browser. I always disable JavaScript. Who needs it? Takes up too many cycles on my x86 CPU. Social media and mobile tech are bad. Twitter? Instagram? Snapchat? Hell no. All I need is text boards and mailing lists. And IRC is perfect.

There is literally nothing wrong with my old technology. All new tech is bad because I am unfamiliar with it and it scares me. I'm not the problem. Everyone else is the problem. I'm still relevant, no matter what changes in the industry!

Cloud computing is a time-sharing rebranded to millenials. You're not in control, your laptop is serving as a dumb terminal that lacks any essential freedom and privacy.
You share computing time with other people and you rent server space. Your data and programs are not magically protected by the cloud, they use lowest cost backup and save on everything imaginable. Lowest cost commodity components that pass quality control and enter-level Xeons working 24/7.
