Problem with the web

The problem with the web isn't j*vascript per-se, but rather the number of requests loading a web page these days take. Like, 100 to 200 HTTP requests.

My life is unfortunately tied to social media. I get invited to events on social media. I get jobs through social media. I meet new people through social media. I coordinate group projects on social media.

I want to go full /innawoods/ eventually, but right now, I am stuck in a hellscape of likes and notifications and tracking.
