Software Piracy

Wwhy aint they using something like a public key to encrypt the executable? If decryption is built in into CPU then it will be a lot harder to reverse engineer, because pirates wont be to see the code which gets unencrypted only inside of the CPU. Reversing modern CPU even to retrieve small the decryption key is very costly.

Also, every programmer should pay Intel for signing his code and be required to pass license exams and prove his university diploma. That will surely increase software quality.

Open source projects should meet ISO 9001 standards before being considered for widespread use. Github should provide standards compliance tracking.

For hobbyist purposes you can probably run it on your custom FPGA CPU, but you must be qualified for the privilege to access customer hardware. That will also rule malware out: if virus writer cant see the code, he cant exploit it. Hope soon x86 will be safer than Disneyland.
