Monads —"the fatal disease"— belong more to the problem set than to the solution set.

It is practically impossible to teach good category theory to students that have had a prior exposure to Haskell: as potential category theorists they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.

The use of Haskell cripples the mind; its teaching should, therefore, be regarded as a criminal offence.

CT is useless anyway. CT should really be called "structure theory" because it's about things like taking an array of pairs and a pair of arrays, and then proving that you can isomorph one into the other. A whole fucking revelation there, genius.

impenetrable academic bullshite

I feel sorry for you if the basic general considerations like joining two things into a pair, then taking out the first and the second element of that pair are "academic", "impenetrable" "bullshite" for you. You must be really struggling with those things called "thoughts" there, buddy.
