Money-driven people can live more or less peacefully when there's a lot of money to go around (though lately there hasn't been, just witness the black riots that shook USA recently), but once things stop being so comfy and climate-controlled, it will all break down. I can walk through a shopping centre nowadays, with one item in mind, go through many stores, and leave empty-handed because I did not find the item I was seeking.
