Objective truth is like a black cat in a pitch-black room.
You can feel its truthiness and consistent character, but you have to bring
the cat back to the light - prove the cat itself is real tangible stuff, not a myth.
The cat resists at every step, its claws and screams as it tries to be unknown,
remain in the subjective mind. Society want the cat skinned, catalogued and classified as it cannot understand unexplained cats appearing out of nowhere.
Truth therefore has to be commodified and simplified to be acceptable, to discuss how "objective" its content is: but modern world turned to constructionist narrative that concepts are socially constructed without their own inherent meaning and nature, they simply refuse to enter the dark room and search for a cat which is a dreaded mythological dragon that upends the social order. As such these social orders are based on lies, the comfortable fantasies and conjectures without any inherent nature for which truth are equated with by declared both "lies and truth" as social constructs, the magic trick convinces the plebs their fantasies are 'equally cute and valid' allowing the fantasy peddlers to control the socio-economic fabric of society by constructing
a system of artificial fantasies in which plebeian hordes are lost: its called 'entertainment' but what lies in this "suspension of disbelief"?
Its essentially a dream made of lies, built the denial of reality and belief in simulacrum, disconnection from nature and escapism into the dream.
Society is fundamentally asleep at the wheel, having traded objective truths for fantasies and dreams that keep evolving and replacing each other:
the basic narrative of all western mythos is synthetic RPG in which all are cast
and expected to follow to get any success, like a second-hand Matrix imposed on the unwilling by way of religion, language and culture. The frame of social progress and cyclical 'eternal return' both force an unnatural expectation for heroic commitment to socially-approved goal to either fix the world or return to past glory(aka good old days). Breaking out of this philosophistry of the Matrix
is going to be hard, but the system sustaining it will eventually crack under the weight of lies, burying its sacred cows within its collapse - it grows more fragile and less competent as lies grow on the older structures of control and submission, the forces behind religion and ideology get stale and self-compromising as culture degrades and capitulates to biological truths, crashing the highly-refined ivory towers within a torrent of unleashed social forces that were kept at bay with intricate 'cultural matrix' built on lies and myth.
Fundamentally the hero slaying the dragon is a slave of the system that treats its heros as dragons: a nexus of power that has to be controlled and regulated as not threaten established order of things, the status quo of the matrix.
