Nah, I've been bugging her for the last four years that we needed to move back in together. Still, she's in some fucking hostel. Originally only meant to be in there a month then the council was getting her somewhere. I told her it was bollocks, years later I'm right. The last straw was her leaving mine and saying she'd come back for the lockdown. When she knew she wasn't going to. So now we spend months apart...When we already didn't see enough of each other due to living in different cities. Honestly just made me realise this girl is a fucking idiot and it's impossible to plan a future with her.

When we first broke up 4 years ago for a couple of months, I slunk back to my hometown. I changed myself. I was a shutin bum on her couch with no job when I left. I Now work, pay rent on my own place (had to to escape the parental home, but it was her spurring me on) and have a healthy social life. Even joined another band for the first time in about 7 years.

What did she do? She went back to the hostels she was in when I met her. She's slipping back with her substance abuse (which breaks my fucking heart, seeing her go through withdrawal years ago was terrible. To see her go back has had me shed a few tears).

I've gone forward. She's gone back. I even offered for her to just come live with me rent free and I would pay for fucking everything but noooo she wants to gold out for some mythical government help that is now about 4 years late. I kept telling her, tomorrow never fucking comes, it's been years! We need to be back together.
