BTC Exchange

Thank to all people who sent me BTC. Since I'm continuing the development of my game, I want to convert a few BTC into PayPal USD. CoinBase requires a stolen European or American ID card to connect with PayPal, and they could block transaction if they notice a forged identity. So I decided to try Russian solution, which promises to send anything anywhere. Most of Russian sites exchange only larger sums at once, but one, Magnatus, appears to be exchanges any sums. For now I've sent them 10USD worth of BTC, and waiting for the result. Hope they don't steal such small sums.

So what exchanges you people use here?

Ok. I thought Russians from Magnatus.com defrauded me: they claimed transfer cannot be made, due to some nonsensical PayPal error (imagine a high profile American service used by millions having an error!). I expected nothing less from Russians. But surprisingly once in a life-time Russians told truth:

PayPal indeed doesn't work with Ukraine, although it works even with Albania, Bahrain, Morocco and Uruguay! Only Ukraine and some worst African countries are not allowed to receive money through PayPal, which has no plans to ever support these shitholes, especially because Ukrainian government doesn't want American companies in Ukraine:

Anyway, Russians refunded half of the sum. And I agree, it was my fault: I blindly assumed that Ukraine is considered part of Europe, instead of checking first if Ukrainians are not pigs and allowed to use PayPal in full, like actually civilized countries, before trying to send money to a PayPal linked with Ukrainian bank account.

Lesson learned: when dealing with Ukraine make no assumptions - common sense doesn't work here.

Tried to transfer donated BTCs to a PrivatBank USD card, this time with the proper western service - cex.io, instead of Russian carders, and it failed again with the same error message and PrivatBank rejecting transaction, just like with Russian carders. Tried to reach PrivatBank tech support by 3700 phone, waited around a hour for an operator to become available - no result. Used the option to reserve a tech support operator callback in the morning. Waited whole day - no callback. Came to their office, where consultant girl told that they cant help with anything - I must call 3700.

Also, PrivanBank employees refuse to open account when presented with Dovidka id card and refuse to speak English, while speaking only Russian language: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYFhbmrf7Og

What can I say? There is nothing I can do. The problem is unsolvable on my side. The problem is in Ukraine, which has a non-functioning bank system, where you can't transfer a single USD. PrivatBank sucks. Ukraine sucks. No wonder Russians want to annex this shithole - Russians love shit. The only thing I can do is trying to cross border illegally into Europe. Ukraine has no future.

That is true only for a few sanctuary cities, like NYC. But NYC is a very expensive place to live, full of top-tier professionals: if you are a graphics designer working at NYC, then you're the best graphics designer in the world. If you can afford to live in NYC, you can pretty much immigrate to USA legally, either by making enough money to buy residency permit or under a professional visa. Given that, authorities just don't care.
