Like all phishing scams, the domain name was chosen to be close to the original website's and a non attentive user could mistakingly click on the hooktube link.

There is! On the Hooktube website at the bottom, there are links to several userscripts that will automatically change the address for you, so you don't have to rely on yourself or someone else to change the link on your behalf. I find that Hooktube redirect works best for my uses :)))))
