There is a way to successfully debate, but it shouldn't be live because in every live debate the multiple sides talk over each other and the moderator does nothing. Further, all participants need to cite scientific papers and statistics that support their opinions, rather than be checked by (((fact checkers))) that are bought and paid for by one side. Third, the audience should not determine who won and who didn't. Facts are not up to the majority vote to decide. Facts are facts, even if someone disagrees with them.
