Here's how it's going to play out. Monday will be another hellish day on the stock markets, but then there will be a recovery later in the week and into next. This is a bull trap. In the second week of September, it's all going to come crashing down. We're going to 5000 points on the Dow Jones. Stock markets in every other country are simultaneously crashing.
As stock equities die, liquidity will dry up, causing currencies to flash crash against price indices. This will be followed by panic "printing" of currency, with the FED and pretty much every nation on the planet using more quantitative easing to create more money out of thin air. Hyperinflation will begin to form. Welfare and social programs will be cut, and in the US, EBT cards will no longer work.
The poor and dindus will begin to riot, and law enforcement will be overwhelmed. As the rioting spreads into the suburbs, and peoples homes are invaded, vigilante groups will form to counter this threat. The government will then go after these vigilante groups instead of the gangs of looters and rioters, claiming the vigilantes are terrorists.
Most currencies will end up be devalued by as much as 80%, if not more. Your last chance to stock up on supplies and preserve your wealth is running out. You have at most a few weeks left.
All of these events will be followed by a major war between the West and the East, as well as between Zionist and Islamist factions sometime as we approach 2020.
The last 70-80 years of peace are coming to an end.

The immigrant crisis will probably spike though. OP has been right so far. There was a recovery, and reading the news, it's mostly due to the actions of the Federal Reserve Plunge Protection Team, which means the recovery is fake. It's highly doubtful they'll be able to keep it together for more than a few weeks.
