Women like to be dominated because it makes them comfortable. The reason for your phenomenon is that undesirable men make them feel even more dominated. It is important for men and women to respect each others differences. Unfortunately, many people never get the opportunity to socialize with the opposite gender. Interacting with the opposite gender in a mutual and earnest way is a very important part of social development. This is especially true for children, as puberty complicates this quite a bit. The world would be much better off if the genders understood each other better. Otherwise you have men who think of women as sex objects and women who think of men as alimony dispensaries. Political extremists make this even harder.

I think that the important thing to remember is that while you are correct, this doesn't apply to all young women. The women that are attracted to scumbags are simply the female equivalent. It's harder to notice because a respectable young woman and a ludicrous tramp don't always look very different. But just remember that a woman who has very nice clothes, hair and makeup probably spends upwards of an hour each day on personal grooming - beyond the usual showering, tooth brushing, and so on. That is the kind of person you are looking at. So they attract a mate that behaves as like an ape. They are playing the role of an animal, and they attract a mate with desirable characteristics to an animal - a mate that can harm others in defence of his offspring. This is a trait that was once desirable. But now the trait is obsolete. But of course, we must live and let live.

I think OP's problem is that one sees women one might view as genetically suitable roaming the earth alongside men one can only elevate with such a kind term as "Uentermensch." It is indeed frustrating, until one accepts that one's own genetic compass is faulty.
