8chan Investment opportunity GET RICH QUICK

Today we are announcing a change in community management on reddit.

We will ban subreddits that allow their communities to use the subreddit as a platform to harass individuals

Today we are removing five subreddits that break our reddit rules based on their harassment of individuals. If a subreddit has been banned for harassment, you will see that in the ban notice. The only banned subreddit with more than 5,000 subscribers is r/fatpeoplehate.

With all the users from reddit migrating to 8chan, I expect a good ROI for 8chan's filipino investors. If you live in the Philippines and want to get good buckaroos, invest in 8chan now!

Wasn't it meant to be a free speech alternative, spawned out of gamergate?

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-15 11:34

Are you kidding? The deformed mentally-retarded mutant little kid frontman shockingly turned out to not actually be running the site and was in fact fronting for several known jews from "something awful". The point was to start an alternative 4chan, ruin the real 4chan and then doxx every user. It all went south due to the site's userbase being horrifying garbage and everybody bailed leaving the site (and the retard monster-baby thing) in the hands of 2ch's owner. Look it up.

dayum forreal?

Confirmed as real. Was all over /pol/ for a little while, but the mods shut it down it would seem. I guess 4Chan really is under new ownership... I'd expect to be doxed any time now if I was the typical 4Channer.

Fredrick Brennan, better known as "Hotwheels" came forward during his livestream today and said simply that 8chan is not making enough money to pay for the server costs. He has been cut off donation websites and simply does not have enough users to make ad revenue. 2ch has been hosting 8chan for free as of now but that could change at any time, and should HW not have the money, then the plug gets pulled and 8chan is gone in the blink of an eye.

NEVERMIND.

Why has he been cut off the donation websites?

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 14:30

>>24
He got enough jew gold

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 14:33

Read >>16. The jews have bailed. This "hotwheels" character is just another deformed child they've tried to paint as some kind of super-genius as a front for their failed schemes. In reality, he can't handle complex matters like pilfering donations for kike-related dealings.

Someone complained about the underage porn to PayPal and Patreon and stuff. Generally speaking, it's really easy to cut off donations if you host questionable content, though.
It's not that different from HentaiKey cutting off PayPal support from 4chan due to alleged copyright violation, but moot can actually deal with issues and Brennan is an incompetent cripple.

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 15:40

So they take away people's right to donate their money to whomever they want just because someone doesn't like it? Ethics warriors are real cancer.

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 15:46

More like a private company refused to offer their services to a third party, as they are entitled to.
You can still go to the Philippines and give Brennan a huge wad of cash, nobody's stopping you.
Or, you know, use bitcoin. But 8chan userbase is so stupid they can't even do that.

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 16:04

But why did a private company refuse to give its services to someone? Why did it discriminate against $personX? There's a system of thought control in American society that is all the more terrible because no one wants to admit it. An owner of a basketball club makes a racist comment - boom, he's not the owner anymore. A site owner hosts some "politically incorrect" material - boom, no one wants to service him anymore. How did it get to this implicitly oppresive state where you're supposedly free but will be totally ostracized if you express an opinion that is different to the Party line? And what is this Party that furtively and implicitly defines what everyone should think? This is a terrible and hypocritical system and no one even acknowledges its existence.

But why did a private company refuse to give its services to someone?
Because they host risque pictures of underage girls. If you think this is just an issue of "political correctness", I don't know what to say to you. These companies go to great lenghts to avoid helping finance and/or launder money for criminal organizations, the consequences of accidentally doing so would be downright catastrophic. It's understandable that a company that works with financial transactions would be so quick to pull the plug at the slightest suspicion.

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 16:37

This is a problem with financial freedom, then. A donation company like PayPal doesn't have to know if people it offers services to are criminals. PayPal doesn't have the authority to investigate who's a criminal and who's not, after all. So why should they be held accountable if it turns out that someone receiving donations through their site is a criminal?

What if my friend's a criminal and I don't know it, and I lend him some money? Would I be accused of financing crime, then? There are criminals in the government system, too, and all citizens who pay taxes are guilty of inadvertenly financing criminals. Should anyone who pays taxes be jailed too? Fucking absurd.

What if there's a guy living on your street that all the neighbors are rumoring to be a pedophile, but a college student offers that guy to mow his lawn? And then the cops come to search the guy's house and find children kidnapped in his basement? Should the college student be sent to jail for mowing the lawn of someone who turned out to be a pedophile?

Name: Anonymous 2015-06-17 17:53

Yes. Always check the basement (and dubs) before mowing someone's lawn.

Re: PayPal. They are very scared of moving illegal money or even money from bad products/services, because illegal money generally has to be returned and bad offers get refund requests/chargebacks. This lowers the reputation of PayPal and thus raises the amount of fees they have to pay to do business.

PayPal is, for the most part, just a middle man between credit card companies, VISA MasterCard, and consumers - taking a small cut in transaction fees. Because there are only two big credit card companies (and several smaller ones) they have extreme power over everybody who wants to receive or make internet payments in the Western world. They set the transaction fees and they can deny processing to anybody they please.

So PayPal is at their mercy, as is every online payment processor. It is an extreme bottleneck in the entire internet commerce model, and more people should talk about it. It is not right to have only a handful of companies controlling all internet payment transactions in the Western world.

Don't change these.
