In fact, how about an editorial on the whole grooming culture in rock and metal? We know what has been going on for decades, why the cover-up; is this the Catholic church? Indeed, just like in the church, if a man can't control his impulses he shouldn't become a "rock star" I suppose. Artistic sublimation is one thing, grooming and love-bombing is another. There are a myriad of successful musicians which are a prime example of what it is an artistic beast without being a sexual predator (see Dee Snider!) - and I think the whole cover-up compromises their art, not to mention the well-being of their fans.
The picture above illustrates a musician nearly 70 meeting a 20 y.o. fan. She confided in me that he "hugged and kissed" her, called her "sweet names" etc. - she was totally enamoured with her idol and years later, she was looking for his home address to pop up and "make him presents". I'm sure the young woman could have used her time better...
