I then met with representatives of national and religious communities, while I also visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the new regime and spoke with the heads of International and European Affairs.

Second, these terrorists are not targeting only Alawites. They’re also targeting Christians and other minorities in Syria who did not have any particular allegiance to Assad. This means that the motivation for the killings is not ‘revenge’ for supporting Assad. Rather, their motivation is violent hatred of any Syrian who does not ascribe to HTS’s perverted view of Islam.
Third, Dyer describes HTS as “a Syrian Islamist militia”. It’s highly misleading to describe HTS as “Syrian” because many of its terrorists are not Syrian. More importantly, nowhere in his 15-paragraph article does Dyer mention that, until a few months ago, major Western governments designated HTS as a terrorist organization, nor does he mention that the CIA recently had a $10 million bounty on the head of HTS leader al-Julani.

There is so many reasons not to engage with your customers one on one most times I have learned that it's best not to talk to most folks it sucks but it's how it is.
