It seems like /lounge/ discussion is 50/50 as far as the content. Seems like a weird juxtaposition. Or is that what /prog/ is for?
that's the only active board. They both are around the same in activity. /prog/ only seems more active then /lounge/ because it gets spammed a lot more by one or two autists, but in reality they're both the same.
I'm not the person going to those threads and posting /lounge/ over and over againThat's because people keep posting off-topic non-programming related threads that would more appropriately have a home on /lounge/.
it was ultimately /prog/ that was responsible for this site's existence, isn't it?Well it was progrider closing that was responsible for it, and progrider had both boards.
When you post on /lounge/, we're doing it in the context of having come from a certain /prog/ in one form or another.Context of having come from world4ch /lounge/.
/prog/ is basically why this scene is thriving, why this forum more than any other is so active.Same thing as the other guy said; both boards are pretty much the same activity wise. /prog is only more active because of autistic spam.
