Line numbering in code

This is shown with a line break, yet it does not work with one. For this reason I think that showing the line numbers would be the optimal solution.

I actually tested adding line numbers to code snippets, but it didn't look very good.

As for your code, it's only word wrapped, isn't it?
I copied it to a text editor and there are no line breaks.
