No, that's not it, it's a bug that I forgot to fix. Your tags shouldn't have been processed at all.
To get it to work, you need to use either the bbcode version: [math]\lim_{n->\infty} \frac{1}{n} = 0[/math] or the sexpcode one: {math \lim_{n->\infty} \frac{1}{n} = 0}

You don't need cookies or to use \( \).
