Someone got paid real money to write this, it is given a DOI, and they are probably putting it on their CV.

Why is this even allowed to exist? All of the shit in social science journals could be blog posts (with 0 comments). It's all fine and dandy until you realize money that would have gone to science and engineering departments are being shunted to this drivel. This is why the gooks are winning.

It's not that there is a special part of the brain for creativity, just that it does require a certain mindset. Much of Asia is extremely discouraging of creativity or taking novel routes to solutions, and they struggle to innovate in any area. Obviously there are a few exceptions, but in general Asian culture is not conducive to creativity in work. Your argument about "papers published" is misleading and disingenuous.
