Saying that 2x2 = 4 is now officially 'controversial' and sparks 'rows'.

He replied: 'Call me old-fashioned, but I tend to think of people with penises as men.

Not all have been impressed with McEwan's comments, Stonewall, the gay and transgender rights charity, has urged the writer to apologise for a speech it calls 'hurtful and dangerous'.

While human rights activist Peter Tatchell, said the author should not comment on how people wish to determine their gender.

The Frankfurt school deviated heavily from orthodox Marxism, and for that reason, critical theory isn't prevalent in modern Marxism.
Hence the term "cultural Marxism", as opposed to classical or orthodox Marxism. They were heavily influenced by classical Marxism when several of their theories were developed.

I'm a subscriber to some parts of critical theory myself, and I don't view it as something bad. Not only that, but I don't view the "academic feminist school of thought" to be bad either.
I'm not even going to bother with this.

I accept that you may have a different opinion, though.
You can disagree with my opinion about the Frankfurt school, but that's irrelevant. My post was addressing the claim that it's just some Jewish conspiracy spouted by alt-righters. It's neither a Jewish conspiracy or a plain old conspiracy. The Frankfurt school was very real and the influence from some of their top academics is still felt today in classes that offer critical theory.
