What if some people were put in the sea from birth, and had children in the sea, for several generations. This kind of sea-based evolutionary kickstarter, would presumably lead to a more advanced, semi-aquatic version of the human. Liquid-dwelling humans would be suitable for space flight, and, also, conquering the oceans.

>>29 Leaving aside the fact that your math is most-likely laughably wrong, we're still left with severe shortsighted thinking, bordering on delusionment, in your post. The same technology that would allow us to evolve humans in the water would be put to use in space flight. Presumably, this would involve a battery of some sort, negating the weight of the water entirely and leaving only the positives of bringing aquatic-dwelling humans on board; namely, bone density that is possibly more resistant to the ravages of low gravity.
