Breeding modern humans

What if some people were put in the sea from birth, and had children in the sea, for several generations. This kind of sea-based evolutionary kickstarter, would presumably lead to a more advanced, semi-aquatic version of the human. Liquid-dwelling humans would be suitable for space flight, and, also, conquering the oceans.

That is while the stuff like programming Haskell since early childhood would be evolutionary disadvantage, because it leads to little or no offsprings. Especially when potential brides are feminists.
