Cross posters are the highest life form.

They are patient, good minded, intelligent, good use of skin, altruistic, moralistic and in a word "great".

What is the purpose of having newsgroups pertaining to a particular genre of binary file if "great" uploads different "greatness" to every single newsgroup.

That has to be the highest form of life because any thinking person would have to admit that it does make sense.

However, cross posters, having a lot of gray matter to work with, probably have completed school, therefore can read and are indeed intelligent and properly understand that concept.

Cross posters are indeed the highest life form.

Otaku/hikki pandering is one of the stupidest things in japanese media nowadays. I blame Lucky Star and Konata for making it "cool", though she herself wasn't that bad(mostly because she was a cute girl). More recently, there Himouto Umaru-chan. Umaru is significantly more revolting than Konata, but the show makes up for it by having better character among the rest of the cast.

Everytime I see one of those "is a snivelling lazy self-centered nerd but is actually an amazing cool guy when he puts some effort into it" characters I cringe.

Jun himself was a worthless little shit but at least the show never tried to convince us otherwise, and he was mostly just a medium to which the main characters of the show, the dolls, were attached.
