So, what does The Pudding Club do? We essentially chat over a pudding, discuss current events/club-related topics and scoff at non-members.

I used to be like you. I used to get all hot and bothered whenever somebody would use "literally" when they meant "figuratively." Now I no longer care. Language evolves over time and words change depending on their usage by masses of people. There's no point complaining about it.
