Is there any defense against that? I.e. you can't take drone with AK-47 and a rocket would be too expensive for a 200 bucks Chinese toy. Is now the time for fighter drones, taking one another?

Won't work if drone is autonomous or use non-radio channel for signaling.

You can use light or ultrasound or make a chain of drones, so they retransmit signal.
