Not really. It's common sense. You probably don't think so because you are probably either from an english-speaking country or some scandi queer who speaks more in enlgish than your native language, but when you are a tourist, the host country is giving you a privilege, and by refusing to even try to learn some bare basics the local language you are branding yourself as an ungrateful arrogant redneck with no manners.
