Looks like C# has infected you and now you try to overengineer everything. I recommend using Scheme more often, or if you don't know it, then re-read SICP and do all exercises. Python always makes everything much shorter, because a lot of stuff is implemented already and you only have to use what's done already. If you're having problems using something that has been done, your job is getting in your way to Satori.
