I don't really hate the sequel trilogy, but I honestly feel like they could have been handled a lot better. The skipping directors only led to continuity errors that could have been solved if they bestowed the honor to J.J. Abrams, Rian Johnson, or some other director. The Last Jedi introduced an interesting premise going forward, but due to peer pressure from the autistic fanbase they returned to the familiar with the follow-up film. Plus these films really don't feel like they're a part of the main Skywalker Saga. They feel distant, as if it is the far distant future where the original characters are at the end of their natural life spans. The Star Wars sequels were not bad films. Now suck my enlarged clitoris.
