Anime & Witchcraft

I've noticed a recent trend in anime promoting witchcraft & occult powers, particularly since 2010's. Very open display of sigils, various demonic entities(depicted as morally ambiguous) & magical rituals(the Western occult type, not japanese). Chaos magic & summoning are particularly promoted. This doesn't look sinister until you research what these symbols & rituals are, which is likely to be blindly imitated by dumb teens (just like ouija boards lead to open possession through nothing but a plain cardboard with letters).
What stands behind this occult intrusion?

>>5 There are major changes:
Anime before ~2010's
1. Did not promote sigils & showcased them everywhere.
2. Didn't promote demonic possession as superpower.
3. Didn't have any satanic imagery & demon worship
4. Didn't use occult rituals as centerpiece of magic:
(instead calling out attacks/spells was the norm).
Anime before 2000's has even more cutesy fairytale mindset
compared to heavily realistic "magical anime" of today.
I suppose its evolving to be more real-to-life imitation, but
dumb weebs like you don't realize the transition to hardcore stuff has already happened.
