I am not "proud" to be white, as pride isn't the right word to describe fondness for one's race and people. Pride presupposes an accomplishment consciously striven for and reached and being born white is not an accomplishment. Instead, I am happy to be white and wish to be around my own people and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
