Is it worth watching?

No. Pretty boring.

Cyberpunk loses appeal with time.

Nah, just watch Lucky☆Star again.

I tried to watch it recently. Because it was produced by Yasuyuki Ueda (Lain, Haibane Renmei...)
I couldn't believe how shitty it was. Probably the shittiest anime I ever tried to watch. At least the two first episodes.

What will happen if you rewatch Lain?

Btw if you want something cyberpunky and don't mind some 'graphic' content, try Ergo Proxy.

I watched Ergo Proxy, visually it was cool but the story was incoherent. Still had good character development though, my favorite episode was the one where they were stuck on the boat

If you want some story, Ghost in the Shell is hardcore cyberpunk with superb plot.

I rewatched it not long ago and absolutely loved it again. There's no way the writers aren't familiar with Teilhard de Chardin's work (the noosphere...)
I saw it before you were born and then I just stopped watching animes altogether because I knew nothing as good could ever be made. K-On? Puella Magi Madoka Magica? What's that shit?

Seeing it slowly becoming a cult anime just corroborated my own opinion. I'm so fucking always right about everything.

Texhnolyze is becoming a cult classic as well, and has most of the same staff

I have loved Haibane Renmei. A masterpiece.

Is there some kind of scenario that begins after the two first episodesof Texhnolize? I saw only violence in frantically short sequences and I had to stop before the epileptic seizure. I don't even know what the anime is about. Aren't two episodes enough to set up some sort of story?

The show picks up after the 3rd or 4th, the way everything ends is the real reason one should watch it.
