Harvesting free energy

The air is saturated with radio,wifi,5G etc waves that could be converted to free electricity.
How legal it is? Surely there is a huge economic incentive(you can have battery free devices, lights,etc) where the radiation is strong enough.
What if you live near a radio station?

In Siegel’s case, “depending on the strength of the electromagnetic field,” his electromagnetic harvester can recharge one AA battery per day. He doesn’t specify, but presumably one-AA-per-day is when he’s sitting next to a huge power substation.

Is that supposed to be 10⁴–10² W? Because most cell towers are a few 100 W max, and even lower in high population density areas where they increase the number of cells to handle higher traffic. The AA battery one, which is roughly 1/8 W given a 3 Wh AA cell, seems more reasonable.

make a general aggregator/conversor of all known types of energy (as abstraction, treat them all as waves, you'll be correct) and make it mobile if you can, you will transcend soon
