1.Time Stopper: You can stop/start time, when time stopped you heal completely and rejunevate to 16 year old state, can teleport anywhere and generally invulnerable. When time stop is off, you're a normal person.
You can spend years in time stop without food/water/air - it magically appears inside you and your vision is unperturbed by absence of light.

2.Demigod: The generic Superman powerset(super-X), you can fly, superhuman strength/endurance/stamina, there is no need to sleep/drink/eat. You appearance resembles a greek god, above any peak human in beauty and strength.
You're not vulnerable to black magic and curses have no effect on you - however you don't possess any magical powers on your own besides supernatural physics of your body(physically indestructible).

3. Master Magician: You possess immortality and vast magical knowledge on any topic. Your words can turn fate of the world and your mind is superhumanly prescient of any useful idea. You possess any skill you desire by telepathically reading the skilled being or channelling the idea of a skill. You can't be killed by physical means and can switch bodies at will - you can travel incorporeally at any time you wish.

4. The Influencer: your words are interpreted as absolute truth and people trust you without question, everything you do is never doubted or questioned as anything out of ordinary - you can command anything and people will do it.
You're also immortal, eternally young and possess superhuman regeneration ability. You can mold minds to your liking simply by being nearby.

5.The Dreamer: you can construct any scenario in your sleep and lucid dream as long as you like(though sleep length isn't changed), you can astrally project anywhere. You're of course also immortal and possess ability to escape into astral pocket worlds(it would turn your body incorporeal and invisible during it, while you location within physical can change at will)

6.The Reality Warper: You're an immortal and indestructible being with power to shape reality to your will. However the more global changes require more time and concentration. Local alterations are swift and quickly follow your desires if you can control them. You of course has no power of The Influencer and people notice the changes you perform on them and their surroundings.

7.Ascendant: You're transformed into a pure spirit being that can watch the world or any realm you desire. You have no power to interact with it though and can only observe whats happenning.

8.The Lucky One: you possess Absolute Luck as a superpower, every event and thing that has probabilities is stacked for your best outcome.
You cannot die, sick or get injured purely due event chains excluding that possibility from even happening.
Your body is "luckiest" to have always working in eak human range without any flaws or diseases. Your entire life is just like a improbable accident where you win lottery-like events every minute, without any effort on your part.

Is there a mechanisms in place to automatically stop time with 1 if you were in immediate danger, such as, of being hit by a car surprisingly?

1 would be tight. 7 would be loose.

1 is clearly the best choice, except, in a way, all of them are horrid as they imply being stuck living for eternity which would be ass garbage.

Wrong. Immortality doesn't mean "can't be killed" it just they're not dying from old age.
For eternity you need A.Immortality B.Ethernal Youth. C. Indestructible Body. D.Immunity to soul stealing entities. E.Immunity to magical attacks which destroy non-physical bodies.

Failing any of that, no eternal existence - also it doesn't exclude the possibility of "eternal being" astral projecting somewhere and losing contact with their own body/getting their soul devoured by demons/etc.
Here are specific death conditions for each of them:

1. Can be easily killed since outside of 'time stop' its a normie human

2. Demigod is indestructible but not immortal(you need both), i'm sure some disease /poison/ engineered virus can take him down. Its basically Superman vs kryptonite.

3. can't be killed by physical means, there are magical means. He isn't invulnerable just biologically immortal, he is also not protected from his soul being snatched by more powerful being.

4. Biologically immortal, can be killed by overpowering his regen or robots immune to charm.

5. Biologically immortal, can be killed before he escapes to his dreamworld.

6. Warps reality enough to remove his immortality or accidentally erases himself.

7. Its basically equivalent to dying.

8. Eventually existing in some hellworld Earth would be considered less lucky than dying so he dies(by sheer luck).

1. Sociopath's wet dream. Its an appealing option for people who lack connection with humanity / lack empathy - they thrilled to see people as powerless mannequins. The basic idea of this, this powerset inevitably leads to crime and confrontation with all social norms - resulting in a Time Stop Criminal living on the outskirts of society trying to hunt/trap/kill him(and devising increasingly elaborate surveillance system to catch/kill TSC out of 'time stops').
Its however has hidden potential, which TSC's with sufficient IQ might use to alter course of history or force social changes by sheer patience and careful planning - unfortunately their manipulation isn't immune to scrutiny and detection(unlike the influencer, the TSC can't change minds).

2. Chad fantasy for normies. Really not that great beside the secondary perks(super-endurance, no need to eat/sleep/drink). Egoists thrilled with Superman powers would likely try to wrestle control with establishment resulting in supervillain getting hunted by military/police and dying by some poison/device their indestructible egoist body can't handle. A positive aspect of this is that Chad Superman wouldn't need to interact with society, as he is entirely self-sufficient.


3. Have complex ideas to change the world? This is the option for one eager to seek knowledge and power - but at what cost? Its a great option because of this line 'your mind is superhumanly prescient of any useful idea' which is essentially having a wikipedia-like access to all information.
Combined with immortality/body-switching its fairly powerful set of abilities and has vast potential - all skills/knowledge/magic that exist can be yours. One of best options, for those not afraid of some effort.


4 is custom built for control freaks/psychopaths/dictators, but doesn't seem so benign when you realize the moral implications of using people as pawns. Least moral choice of the series(even with 6).
Influencers are not that great in comparison with Demigods - they're dependent on constant control and perceived reputation. Their physical ability is limited by regen and eternal youth, no strength/flight/superhuman senses.
Drop an Influencer into a desert/ocean and he would be struggling to reach civilization.

5 is the Escapist toolkit for constructing whatever reality you like without bothering with living. Want to live in anime? Fullfill every sex fantasy, guilt-free? Play a real-life videogame?
This is the secondary bonus of not needing to live in physical world by becoming incorporeal.


6 Allows you to play God, with unlimited reality-bending powers. Don't like something? poof, its erased from existance. However such power can corrupt one easily and attract much attention.
This is most 'powerful' option in the series, essentially the "Dreamer" getting control of the world itself.

7 is essentially comfy afterlife without any drawbacks. Most morally neutral/safe option.


8 is underrated Easy Mode life.
Imagine the best possible life - now imagine if every second of that life was also stacked in your favor. Thats 8's daily life. The drawback is that you're not anything special - just a normal human.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of it as you would still retain your personality and general human way of thinking and feeling but that wouldn't be possible without a body presumably.

But if the possibility of soul snatching exists, then only 8 is an acceptable choice as all the rest leave you open to having your soul snatched by a nefarious being.

Its a hypothethical possibility: basically only if you manage to attract attention of powerful entities with your antics, like a laser guided karmic retribution or spiritual police.
If you stay quiet and don't abuse your powers it won't be as likely.

Only Master Magician and Reality Warper are risky enough to attract such attention with high probability, because their powers lead to messing with global affairs.

Time Stopper is safe with petty crime but when he starts to mess with changing history/politics/social order, hes going to get targeted fast.

Demigod and the Influencer are local nuisances that rarely attract attention - the most likely is Influencer trying its hand in global politics or Demigod attempting to wrest power from society.

The Dreamer and The Lucky One will likely be ignored as they don't do anything notable outside their life.

Ascendant doesn't even have a soul, just pure spirit without much personality.

Looks like its sort of partial immortality and teleport means escaping most traps.
