A Change of Attitude

Name: Anonymous 2019-07-06 17:30

During the Manchu Qing Dynasty the han chinese were second class citizens. Because of this the Han held an intense hatred towards the Manchus. Most westerners who have not read deeply about this time period will miss an important fact. When present day China complains about the century of humiliation done by the Western Powers + Japan they conveniently omit the fact that the Han Chinese were humiliated by the Manchus for almost 300 years. That was the Qing Dynasty.

Today the Manchus are a small minority and their ancestral homeland of Manchuria is overrun with Han Chinese. They've been assimilated into the Chinese Hive and are completely irrelevant. But, there is now a change in attitude for the People's Republic of China. Previously when the Manchus ruled over China the Han hated them but today the Han Chinese loves the Qing Dynasty. That's because the CCP of PRC realized that the Qing Dynasty had expanded China's territory more so than the previous Han Chinese Dynasties. The CCP of PRC claims that they are the true inheritor of the Qing Dynasty and as such all of the territories once held by the Qing rightfully belongs to the PRC.

Of course most countries don't take the PRC seriously. But this shifting attitude reveals something deeply troubling about how the Han Chinese thinks and operates. They are very much like a spoiled child and the best way to deal with that is to smack them in the ass repeatedly. Appease them and they will grow bolder and more unscrupulous. Some measure of ass smacking is necessary to keep them in line.
