Jobs being replaced by machines

What I don't understand is why people are never talking about the millions of pencil pushers (doctors, accountants, litigators, secretaries, journalists, programmers, pretty much every office worker, etc) that could be replaced by algorithmic software today but aren't for some reason. Why is it always talking about burger flippers and truck drivers even though they would require developing complex hardware with human-level dexterity at a lower cost than current hourly rates?

Are we witnessing a conspiracy here? Have the pencil pushers taken over society and are now actively suppressing software solutions that would replace them? Are they, too, desperately trying to develop robots to replace other workers so that it becomes a society-wide issue rather than just worthless pencil pushing fags being impacted?

legit I'm curious about this too

every lawyer and nonsurgeon doctor and accountant and javascript programmer can be replaced by straightforward code (rules-based expert systems, no neural network black boxes) written with stuff we have had for the past couple decades

Turns out this is a fake society and jobs are nothing more than day care. One has to wonder whether we are actually in a prison of some sort, possibly a spiritual one. Ask yourself: if tasked with using only bronze age tools (and that's generous) to plan and carve out Kailasa Temple, could you do it?

people built the Burj Khalifa and Empire State Building, so why not?

I wasn't aware those building were built thousands of years ago using only (and this is generous) bronze age tools.

doctors? maybe when it comes to diagnosis, but you'll still need someone knowledgable to do the assessment (patients self-reporting symptoms to expert systems are very unreliable). lawyers? not really - laws are generally shitty as formal systems (contradictory, incomplete, open to interpretation), and even if they weren't then a lot of lawyering is not arguing about the laws but arguing about the facts. expert system won't be able to judge things like 'did the husband have an affair or was he just spending time with a friend?' or 'did the defendant shoot the victim in self-defense or was it a premeditated murder?'

He's talking about doctors like radiologists, cardiologists, the kind of doctor you see for check ups, that sort of thing, it is of course easy to replace such people with software as all they are doing is observing and then referencing their observations against their medical knowledge like a computer program but less efficient. Obviously the software would have a "robot" with various sensor implements to aid in diagnosis. Most lawyers are involved in writing contracts and other mundanities not in ambulance chasing and what not, even trial lawyers have teams of lawyers behind them, all of whom could be replaced by software. lawyers just fill out standard forms all day basically. 1% of their billable hours are standing in front of a judge and coming up with arguments. it would be better if we just had humans do that, the thing that computers can't do, than have an excess of humans toil needlessly on excessive work.

doctors spend most of their time writing prescriptions that the patient asks for. again, more bookkeeping, Excel-jockeying, clerical type work that can be written in C.

It is ironic because this is what the bible warned about. Programming developers developed software that replaces them, making them worthless in comparison to even the dumbest laborer. Now society needs garbage men and burger flippers and powerful Jews, but it no longer needs the middle class of intelligent people. That explains all the niggers I've been seeing lately.
