A mideval larper fantasy of "just kings" and "fair justice" didn't include such inconvenient facts as that before 18-17th centuries human rights were an abstract idea with political courts of monarchies oppressing lower classes and social power stratified by wealth and nobility(p.s. thats what neofeudalism is all about)
