Easy, cheap birth control pills: Its simulates pregnancy and women lose desire to have children. Also, it fucks with hormones of other people - search "hormones in tap water" and transgender epidemic. Obv. transgenders don't reproduce.
Urban/suburban overcrowding: Like that rat experiment when they gave rats everything iirc was called mouse utopia, overpopulation fucked their brains and they died off. People also sense overpopulation and probably have the same reaction.
Purchasing power vs middle-class lifestyle: People striving to live middle class lifestyle can't afford it anymore and prices of raising children are significant factor: That, is affording their children middle-class lifestyle as a cultural obligation and planning for their future.
Multicultural society: People don't have trust towards strangers and don't want to invest/support in the community. This makes its less safe to have/raise kids. Loss of cultural cohesion and common religion also reduces trust.
Late-age births: Associated with lots of mental defects and genetic abnormalities, these children are going to have a hard time reproducing and will have inferior genetic stock for their own children.
Carrying capacity - the ultimate limit: Humanity can't handle exponential growth without new territory, and since Earth is inherently limited, there will be a population peak with gradual decline as resources are depleted. Space colonization might help if it was affordable to immigrate to some planet, but such planets have to be terraformed and settled with industrial system to support immigrants - a huge undertaking.

Also this: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2001/sep/09/gm.food GMO targeting sperm. This is going to lower sperm counts significantly. What if its secretly added to food? Even if its only in corn - lots of products have corn as ingridient and you don't know which kind of corn is that..

you're acting like we need more people on the planet.
b-b-but the shitskins will replace us!
the better ones (Chinese and some South Americans) will end up becoming capitalist/consumerist and stop reproducing just like whites. the low Western fertility has nothing to do with genetics, just culture, and the same culture is being exported everywhere.
the worse 3rd worlders will just hit cyclic Malthusian collapses as economic recessions prevent Westerners from subsidizing their survival.
Their(3rd world) culture does not have: 1.Late-age births. They marry young. 2.Multicultural society. They self-segregate into ethnic enclaves. 3. Purchasing power vs middle-class lifestyle. They don't have the cultural obligation to be middle-class for their kids. 4.Urban/suburban overcrowding. They are used to live in overcrowded conditions and their society has adapted to higher density living. 5.Birth control is a novel concept to them and they have strong family-clan-tribe culture. Often religion forbids any birth control or abortion.
They will multiply until Carrying capacity starts becoming relevant.

The problem with that thinking is cultures don't just change into "Default Western type" they accumulate their own ethics/laws/baggage/etc. You don't end up with Western culture in the end. You'll end up with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W27PnUuXR_A

The Great Filter: Civilizations that use up all their resources before expanding to the stars and collapsing into dark ages. There is choice to rapidly advance in technology by concentrating on research and development(SciFi space communism/fascism) or use all the resources into low-efficiency status-quo society(cars, plastic, consumer shit, etc) and pander to lowest common denominator with mass-produced entertainment(TV, Web portals, movies, animation, videogames) to keep people docile and under control until the resources run out (SciFi dystopias where people fight for water and soylent rations).

I see only a few realistic solutions to the Great Filter.
1. Construction of benevolent worldwide AI control system: Long-term most effective idea is to automate all government and resource allocation - minimizing corruption and waste. Such a system has to be really thought-out to preserve human freedom or AI dystopia occurs(where AI turns on humans for perceived transgressions/crimes/flaws/etc interpreted as threat to its system).
2.Legal eugenics & focus on science: A.only allowing top 20%-30% of population by IQ to reproduce and carefully adjusting demographics to maximize economic potential vs resources. B. Return to Big Science, government funded projects/labs/research as most important part of budget - similar to post-WWII science boom fueled by cold war. This is least likely due politics and anti-intellectualism in the west. East Asians may try this one though, but they're not immune to SJWs and cultural marxism.
3. Off-world colonies: breakaway civilizations that keep technology and culture somewhere else. This would of course require some sort of non-chemical space travel and self-contained spaceships. If Great Filter is inevitable, a breakaway enclave like in Fallout controlling some territory on Earth is also viable.

The only real problem is creating a viable alternative to chemical space propulsion, once its solved there will be a Wild West of resource exploration and lots of opportunity to establish a breakaway civilization/enclave/colony preserving culture/tech(and more colonies guarantee it will be preserved). i.e. a New Space Age will solve carrying capacity/demographic collapse/cultural decay by giving new living space on other planets/star bases/etc.

The only solution to the Great Filter is to not bother. It's inevitable that we will go back to hunter-gathering because that's what we are. Until flawless genetic engineering or strong AI happens, that will always be true. For all I care everything since year 1500 has been a temporary experiment.
“Number one, it was the right decision to do this,’’ he said. “As we were getting her on the bed, I felt something go pop. And she said, ‘oh that doesn’t feel good.’ And when I looked, the whole thing had split open.”
He explained that she required more skin grafts and he sewed some things back up.
