The point of UBI is not "Free welfare". Its a baseline stanard, you can fuckup your life, but with a 1000$ baseline income it could be repaired - unlike the current system where the baseline is 0$ and homelessness. Basically, Yang provides the safety of not ever becoming the 0$ hobo => eliminating economic anxiety. It doesn't take an expert psychologist to see this proposal will win lots of people if they knew about it - its a concrete, specific proposal with a plan: not a socialist fantasy with vague promises to change the system.

The interesting point to ask Chairman Yang, is that 1000$ inflation-adjusted per month or not? Because even a few percent of inflation per year will make less and less attractive, just like fixed minimum wage losing purchasing power.
Trump losing the meme war to 2020 upstart already? Internet memers flock to @andrewYangVFA's campaign centered around AI driven mass job loss and universal basic income (UBI). See #YangGang

If it's universal income does that mean that Yang will take care of non-Americans too? We could also lose our jobs here in in Tahiti is the thing.... I hope Yang doesn't pull a Yin on the rest of us tbh. Edited on 08/03/2019 09:01.

If Trump didn't want to hand the 2020 presidency over to a Chinese bent on plundering what is left of the USA at an accelerated rate, he should have delivered the wall plus made good on Q stuff. Too late now, oh well.

Well, you either choose Yang in 2020 and get universal UBI including for white folk, or wait until 2024 and accept AOC's UBI which will only be for non-whites.
UBI is inevitable in the USA, the only choice is, do you want whites to get a snout in the trough or not? Edited on 09/03/2019 06:05.

Trump is still doing good in the polls about 40% support. If the democrats get split on Bernie/Yang or Harris/Bernie, its likely Trump will get a second term. Yang getting support from alt-right will throw Democrats to distance themselves from Yang as he accumulates populist voterbase vs mainstream democrats. 5D checkers.
Yang is really capable of bring out a populist wave like Trump, the only issue is exposure. Normies are drip-fed mainstream news and TV which mention him once a month at best. However, if "scandalous alt-right figure X endorses Yang"(which they already do) he will start to get free negative publicity, and media will be covering it obsessively for weeks(just like anti-Trump shilling kept his name in public mind 24/7).

>>69 Yang is a much more sympathetic figure than Trump so any negative publicity is bound to make him look good. If MSM hits him with the inevitable David Duke endorsement he can just mouth off about how people are suffering and that makes them hateful and how he would just give them all 1k a month and be done with it.
Yang is in a win win situation, there's literally no way he can lose at this point unless he gets jewed in the primaries by kamala and the DNC or if Trump pledges a UBI of $1,000,000 a month but only for Israel's citizens in the general.

>>69 Imagine the headlines; "Meet the Neo Nazis that support Yang" "Yang's prosperity plan gets unexpected fans from the alt-right" "White nationalists flock to a democrat Yang, abandoning Trump" "X has endorsed Andrew Yang, calling Trump a zionist pawn" And this continues for few weeks, redpilling normies about UBI, forcing them to look up wtf is this chink proposing. Of course the media smear campaign can't begin before they feel Yang is a real threat, and this is unlikely because they exclude him from polls - he will appear as a fringe candidate in the debates.

Btw yesterday the mods of his subreddit started pre-moderating everything after manial moderation failed. The discord shills triggered /pol/ into raiding their subreddit and posting wrongthink memes(which has potential to scare away normies and democrats).
Ilhan Omar(triple Oppression Olympics medalist) just criticized Obama in the interview, democrats are reevaluting their committment to Joe "I love children" Biden and Obama(it a bit of cognitive dissonance to them, as Obama was considered the new savior of dems). Biden is likely to slide in the polls soon, pushing Bernie to the top.

>>73 At least some of the over-the-top anti-semitism must be fake, it reminds me of flat earth shilling: an insane, rabid adherence to some point of view promoted to paint all conspiracies as equally insane and extremist viewpoints to shock and alienate the average joe. I've noticed lately that /pol/ threads consist of at least 50% reposts from far-left subreddits(which i read daily) - and they stay on for hours(which i wouldn't expect on a site "dominated by neo-nazis").
