Because when people talk about le gene editing they always mean that it is possible to isolate genes that cause intelligence, strength, specific personalities, etc. but in practice that is likely to be impossible due to biological systems not being just a sum of parts. Further, there is zero evidence that the supposed gene-editing accomplishment in question ever happened or if it did it will most likely fail down the road as unforeseen problems reveal themselves.
