Speedrunning games apparently causes something similar, with amount of queers in this subculture being off the charts.

Its obvious speedrunning is unique form of gaming that could be entraining some brain circuit over and over again, that circuit somehow connected to gender(or sex hormones). Alternatively it could be causing some sort of brain-damage(like RSI, which is also endemic in speedrunners) in area of the brain connected to gender.
